Loch Ness Rally 2016
The 33rd Loch Ness Rally saw 79 machines and rides entered for this years rally, but sadly there was 6 no shows. The day was cool but most importantly dry. The route this year took the riders through the town, out on the Beauly road, and then turning off towards Kiltarlity and on to Drumnadrochit via the A833, then down to Fort Augustus, where some riders stopped for a natter. Then it was back towards Inverness via Foyers and Dores and then back to Fairways. Only 2 machines needed the help of the sweep vehicle, provided and manned by Mitchells Motorcycles Inverness, David Clark on his 1929 Calthorpe Ivory, which ran out of power and George Christie on his Silver Wing which suffered a water seal failure. This years raffle was sponsored by Willie Young Motorcycles And Tom Adamson, Elgin
