July 2018 Club Run

A run too far, from Inverness to Mallaig. The run to Mallaig was pretty good, very little rain and the odd bit of sun. A coffee stop at the Thistle cafe and a weather check by Dode, saw some prepare for the worst. The worst didn’t happen till return run, Bill left at Glen Finnan, Peter and myself left Mallaig before the rest who went for a coffee. The rain started just before Fort William and lasted up to Laggan. Riders got home sometime between 5.15 and 8.30, a long day.

Small cc and Older bike run

Saturday 20th July, from Dingwall to Tore, or so they said, but instead, it was Dingwall and down Strathconon and back to Muir of Ord for a late lunch snack. One member lost his bike keys en route to Dingwall, no names, but he answers to Ralph. Another great day out in this great sunny weather.

Strathspey Railway

Boat Garten display, 19 bikes on show, but sadly very few people to see them, it rained a couple of times, which was spent either in the shed or in the hotel or cafe eating and drinking.

Dallas Gala

Only 5 members made this event, the sun shone all day and we got a visit from the Gala Queen and the Big Tots Circus ringmaster, Emma.
